Leaping Hurdles was created as a user-friendly tool to increase financial opportunities for individuals, local and small businesses in underserved communities.

With Woodlawn and surrounding neighborhoods growing at a rapid rate economically, many long-term residents and small businesses face financial hardships due to high unemployment/underemployment rates, access to resources, and limited contractual opportunities.

Leaping Hurdles was inspired by a local resident entrepreneur of Woodlawn who has been directly impacted with many of the challenges mentioned.

The system will communally connect all community members/ businesses to employment/ contractual opportunities creating financial stability/security to many who have been marginalized and economically disconnected in their own community.
